Employing a contractor from our Hello Hello services guide
Chris and Marie’s have not used most of the contractors we have provided listings for and as such we are not recommending any of the contractors, although I am sure the majority of our contractors are professionals that charge a fair price. It is important to shop around and get a feel for the right price for the job that you have in mind and make sure that the contractor has suitable experience and equipment. If it is a big job or a long term contract that you are negotiating ask the contractor to refer you to one or two other clients for a reference. In other words use at your discretion.

Purpose of our guide
In creating the guide Chris and Marie’s Plant Farms have a two fold purpose. One is to provide useful information to Melbourne gardeners. The second is to assist garden services contractors in advertising their business to the right clients very cheaply. Many professional gardeners purchase their gardening requirements from Chris and Marie’s Plant Farms and we wanted to show our gratitude by providing this listing on the hello hello website at a price. We charge $20.00 per year to put the listing in and a further $20.00 to change the wording or photograph in the listing. Up to 10,000 people per week visit the Hello Hello website making it the busiest horticultural website in Australia and these are mostly local people looking to build or further develop their garden.

Obtaining a listing on our guide
If you are a garden services contractor from the greater Melbourne area you are welcome to list on our Hello Hello services guide. The cost is $20.00 per year and $20.00 if you wish to change your photo or info, this entitles a contractor to one listing in one category. Additional listings attract a further $20.00 charge.

It is advisable to put in a photograph of yourself, your team, equipment or one of your jobs as this makes your listing stand out. Remember that we only put a tiny photograph in so don’t try to capture too much in your photo. Also carefully and accurately explain what is special or unique about your business, so that you communicate to the right customer.
