The Devotion Story

What makes Devotion Potting & Planting Mixes different? Chris discovered that the modern additives being used in most commercial potting mixes such as sawdust, coconut peat, coal dust and organic waste were not actually improving the health of his plants, so he dug up a 30 year old recipe his Dad used to make, and went back to making good old fashioned simple potting mix that really does the job! Thus Devotion Premium Potting Mix was born. He also is the first to formulate Planting Mixes - because potting mix is not formulated to be dug directly into a garden bed, Chris developed two specially formulated planting mixes (Devotion Planting Mix for Sandy & Loamy Soils, and Devotion Planting Mix for Wet Feet, Heavy & Clay Soils) that actually improve the quality of the soil in your garden bed and greatly assist your plants to thrive in their new home for years to come. And there is also Devotion Complete Garden Bed Mix for all-purpose use.

What is the secret of using Time Release Fertilisers? Well what you don't get told when you buy potting mixes with the time release fertiliser already added is that by the time you get it home and use it, most of the fertiliser will already have discharged! The Devotion range of potting and planting mixes come with a separate sachet of Devotion Time Release Fertiliser, so you can add it at the time you use it, making sure you get the full benefits of our special formulation that is safe and easy to use on almost every type of plant or garden.

Devotion Potting & Planting Mixes

The Devotion range of potting and planting mixes contain starter fertilisers and trace elements. There are no controlled release fertilisers contained within them, which means that they are suitable for planting all types of plants into, including phosphorus sensitive plants such as grevilleas, proteas and natives. The even greater advantage is that controlled release fertilisers can be added to your potting mix as required. Pellets of slow release fertiliser that are contained within most potting mixes have partially or totally discharged at the time of use.

Devotion Time Release Fertiliser
