Hello Hello is a fun and exciting place to work. We are a
vibrant organisation who employ lots of young people. We are
Victorias largest dedicated plant retailer with five
retail
nurseries, Carrum Downs, Campbellfield,
Traralgon,
Shepparton &
Bendigo and three production nurseries two in the Dandenong
Ranges and one in QLD. In the last 6 months we have grown from
two to five retail outlets branching out into country Victoria.
Our long term plan is to create a number of Hello Hello family
nurseries all over Australia.
We have our own range of plant and gardening products which are
available in our stores such as Neighbours Be Gone ™ Trees,
Celtic Cascade™ and
Devotion™.
Our web site is created in house and our TV and radio ads are
also largely created in- house. Hello hello dot com dot au is
amongst the most informative and visited horticultural web sites
in world and our ‘Hello Hello’ brand is very well known and
loved.
Hello Hello is an organisation where hard work and
responsibility is encouraged; a person who works hard and takes
responsibility can be running a whole nursery section in a
matter of months and this person has the possibility of managing
one of our stores within 12 months. Many of our store managers
are in their early twenties and started out by working in our
stores part time whilst at school. |

Truck Driver
Must have a manual license, be able to drive light vehicles & 4
tonne trucks, persons with articulated licence and medium rigid
licenses can apply. Must be willing and able to do deliveries in
light vehicles and to travel throughout Melbourne and regional
Victoria.
Experienced Book Keeper – Carrum
Downs
This position is based in Carrum Downs. A sound knowledge of
book keeping for medium sized businesses is essential. Must
be able to work Mon-Fri during normal office hours, a
minimum of 30 hours. Must be able to work as part of a team.
Trainee Manager – Carrum Downs
Must be willing to learn all aspects of running a retail
nursery operation. Must have a sense of responsibility and a
good work ethic. Will assist the manager in daily nursery
operations with the goal of becoming a retail nursery
manager in one of our new regional stores.
Trainee Manager - Campbellfield
Must be willing to learn all aspects of running a retail
nursery operation. Must have a sense of responsibility and a
good work ethic. Will assist the manager in daily nursery
operations with the goal of becoming a retail nursery
manager in one of our new regional stores.
Part Time Juniors for Public Holidays & Weekends – all stores
We require part time juniors for all stores - Carrum Downs,
Campbellfield, Traralgon, Bendigo & Shepparton. Positions
include till operators, plant waterers, greeters, trolley
boys/girls and customer assistance.
Retail Sales Staff – all stores
We require retail sales staff for all stores - Carrum Downs,
Campbellfield, Traralgon, Bendigo & Shepparton. A good knowledge
of plants is helpful but not essential must be willing to see
and serve customers.
Nursery Hands Part & Full Time – all stores
We require nursery hands for all stores - Carrum Downs,
Campbellfield, Traralgon, Bendigo & Shepparton. Positions
include till operators, plant waterers, customer service
providers, stock handlers.
Assistant Production Manager - Emerald
Must have tractor driving skills and experience in running
wholesale nurseries. Full time position available a minimum of
38hrs per week. Must have an interest in horticulture and
production.
Personal Assistant to the Director
Must be dedicated, hardworking and career orientated, available
to work flexible hours, have manual drivers license. Applicant
should be computer literate have an interest in media and have
excellent literacy, numerical and organisation skills.
Till Operator (retail management -
trainee) – Carrum Downs & Campbellfield
We require persons full time to train in the retail
management field in Carrum Downs & Campbellfield.
Receptionist (office administration
trainee) – Carrum Downs
We require persons full time to train in the office
administration field in Carrum Downs
Full Time & Casual Cashiers –
Campbellfield
Casual & full time cashiers required. The full time
positions will require the successful applicant to work one
weekend day (eg. Tues to Sat, Sun- Thurs) Previous retail
cashier experience is beneficial but not necessary. |

Luke
Store Manager
Shepparton |
 |
| Luke saw a television program called Bread which
featured Hello Hello in one of their episodes. From the
information on this tv show Luke decided that wanted to
leave school and come and work for Hello Hello. Luke
started working as an apprentice at our Campbellfield
store when he was 16 and learnt about plants and garden
design and now at 17 he is managing our Shepparton
store. Luke is hard working and contributes to the
successful operation of our business each and every day. |

Bron

| Bron has worked in wholesale nurseries and when the
position for a trainee manager at our Monbulk production
nursery came up she jumped at the opportunity. Bron has
a passion for photography and dancing and is very
creative and in 6 months has worked to become our
Monbulk Farm Manager. Bron loves being active and
working outdoors even in the rain! |

Stacee
Book Keeper

| Stacee joined our business in 2004 as an office trainee
working as a receptionist then learnt accounts payable.
In under three years Stacee has acquired the knowledge
necessary to become a book keeper and is now our office
manager. Stacee likes working at Hello Hello as she says
it’s an exciting, fast moving business and there’s
always lots to do. |

Nikki
Regional Manager |
 |
| Nikki came to work at Hello Hello as a backpacker over
10 years ago. She first started working on our farm in
Emerald then in our retail nursery in Emerald. Nikki
worked in the nursery serving customers and then moved
to creating and implementing systems into our business.
Today Nikki plays an intergral part in the expansion of
Hello Hello and is our regional manager. |

Chanel
Store Manager

| Chanel worked on weekends as a sales staff member whilst
she was completing her VCE. She worked in our Essendon
store and learnt about garden design and plant selection
and advanced her position to becoming a day manager
where she directed others. Chanel now manages our
Campbellfield store full time. |

| Sarah is a bright young
staff member who works in our Traralgon store
throughout the week and
weekends. Sarah is learning about our business and
is working towards becoming a store manager.

Truck Driver

| John has worked for Hello Hello driving our plant
transport trucks for the past 4 years. John started out
driving our 4 tonne truck and recently learnt to drive
our semi trailer and now has his HC license. John loves
driving trucks and says that he likes travelling over
Victoria to our stores, every day is different and he
always has great stories to tell his family. John was a
taxi driver before he worked for us and uses his
knowledge of Melbourne to transport goods efficiently.
